It is with the saddest of hearts that we announce the passing of SFC. Glenn Roop (Retired) on Sunday August 22, 2010. He will truly be missed.

While serving with the 145th Infantry, Ohio National Guard, Glenn was activated for federal service during the Korean War. After the War he served in the Ohio National Guard's 37th Infantry Division and later transferred to the 3rd Squadron 107th Armored Cavalry Regiment where he served as Medical Platoon Sergent until his retirement. After he retired, Glenn continued to serve the Ohio Guard working as the Maintenance Custodian for the Stow Armory.

Visitation will be on August 24, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Avenue Tallmadge Circle, Tallmadge, Ohio. Services will be held at 10:00 AM. Wednesday August 24, 2010 at the Faith Bible Fellowship Circle, 126 West Overdale Drive, Tallmadge, Ohio. Internment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery with military rights and honors
