Sad news regarding the passing of John C. Nix our fellow associate.

  After serving a distinguished tour of duty in the U.S. Marine Corps John joined Troop C 1/107 Armored Cavalry Regiment. John's performance as a Platoon Sergeant was outstanding which led to his assignment to Troop B and promotion to 1st Sergeant. When the Regiment was reorganized and Troop B moved to Painesville, Ohio, John was selected to fill the position of Acting Platoon Leader. His performance was commendable. John later retired from the National Guard and lived and worked in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Over the years John attended several Association functions and will long be remembered for his friendly smile and great sense of humor. We salute you John you will be missed.

 John will be remembered in a Mass for Christian Burial on Monday November 30, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Saint Brendan Church 4242 Brendan Lane North Olmsted,Ohio 44070.
