It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of BG

(Ret) Calvin H. Lanning on 10 February 2009. BG Lanning

served with the Ohio National Guard and on active duty with

the U.S. Army from 22 February 1943 until December 1980.

   His service in the Ohio National Guard included notable

positions as Executive Officer for the 107th Armored Cavalry

Regiment and the Assistant Adjutant General Army.

   A memorial service was held for him in Florida.
